Boots – Irregular Choice, blouse – charity shop, dress – Primark via ebay, necklace – New Look
I’ve been an innocent bystander whilst admiring Irregular Choice footwear from afar which rather came to an end last week when I spied these Sugar n Candy boots on ebay… They are brand new and leather and are now mine for £26.50. I don’t think that’s bad, especially considering they are ankle boots with an optional leather leg sleeve to transform them into whopping great wader boots. From where I stand Irregular Choice footwear falls into two categories, or a mix of the two: eccentrically OTT or debatably ugly. I think these are debatably ugly. The ankle boots are fleece lined and really confortable to wear, the platform and whopping wedge makes walking pretty easy. I do love the studding which is subtle and secure, so I’m not fearful of losing a few making the boots look shoddy. The leather leg sleeves (technical) look quite big but actually rely on a slender thigh so I was fortunate they fit at all. After a couple of hours round town in them I have to say that despite looking a touch mad, they are a really practical choice!
This sixties style shift dress has for some reason been hiding in my wardrobe all winter along with this blouse. Honestly, I can’t understand why I haven’t been wearing it at least once a week, but hey.
